Electrical Competency and Safe Working
Designed for delegates who are involved in routine maintenance and replacement of electrical equipment from plugs and flexes of appliances to replacement of lights, switches, sockets, pumps etc.
Delegates will understand the hazards’ of electricity and their responsibilities under the law.
They will be confident in the fundamentals of fault finding and be able to demonstrate by examination the selection and use of the correct test equipment, the process and good practice of safe isolation and proving dead the circuit and equipment of the fixed installation.
