This course is aimed at any person who uses an abrasive wheel as part of their work activities and covers Inspection and fitment of Abrasive Wheels.

• Health and Safety requirements
• PPE requirements
• Hazards & risks arising when mounting and using abrasive wheels
• Methods of marking abrasive wheels
• Storing, handling and transporting abrasive wheels
• How to inspect and test abrasive wheels
• Function of components
• Correct mounting and balancing
• Dressing of wheels
• Adjustment of work rests and guards
• General safe practices
• Practical elements – Inspecting and mounting of grinding/cutting disk on angle grinder and Inspecting, mounting and ring testing on fixed bench grinder (if applicable)

Duration: Half Day

Certification: Delegates will be awarded an in-house certificate of attendance which is valid for 3 years
