Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical
Installations
BS 7671 : 2008 – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
A four day programme aimed at delegates who are involved in the design, construction and inspection and testing of electrical systems, practicing electricians with relevant experience, other allied professionals, and related trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
It is intended that on completion candidates will be conversant with the format, content and the application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 : 2008
For the four day programme previous knowledge of the regulations is not necessary, however a fundamental knowledge of electrical principles will be required.
The examination is a 2 hour multiple choice, open book, pc based via the City & Guilds ‘GOLA’ system with immediate results.

There are eight units making up the course relating to parts
1 – 7 and the Appendices of BS 7671 : 2008. These are :-

Definitions
Assessment of general characteristics
Selection and erection of equipment
Inspection and Testing
Special installations or locations
Appendices
