technical operator
Purpose: This programme is generally a bespoke course designed specifically to suit customers’ on-site requirements. It will instil knowledge and understanding along with practical skills to operators in a manufacturing environment, enabling them to perform first line maintenance tasks. This first fix approach is key to identifying faults more effectively and subsequently reducing production breakdown time.

Health and Safety
Awareness of engineering terminology
Use of Hand Tools – to include; Wrench Keys, Screwdrivers,
Spanners, Striking Tools and Punches.
Dismantling and Assembling Methods
Lubrication and Cleaning
Fixings and Fastening Methods
Production Line Changeovers
Routine Inspection and Maintenance of; Valves, Pumps, Levers,
Linkages, Bearings, Transmission and Conveyor Systems
Certification: IPB Training Certificate of
Competence
