Stage Two: Advanced Programmable Controllers
Purpose: To give technicians and craftsmen a
practical working knowledge
in the use and application of Programmable Controllers.
Trainees must have a basic understanding of Programmable Controllers or have completed the Stage One Introduction course.
- Review of contents of Stage One course
- Ladder programming on conveyor training rig using Timers, Counters etc.
- Monitoring and fault finding of programmes
- Use of search / find instruction
- Use of force on / off instruction
- Theory to support all practical activities
