Stage Two: Advanced
This programme is designed for delegates who have completed the Stage One Basic course or who can demonstrate the knowledge and understanding, and can be assessed practically against that criteria. The training is of a high practical content and will allow the delegate to perform additional mechanical skills safely and competently.

Bushes and Bearings – types including; Plain, Roller, High Speed
Plain
Seals – awareness of different types; Static & Dynamic
Power transmissions; Chain Drives, Synchronised Belt Drives,
Gears and Fluid Couplings.
Lubrication – awareness of different types and applications,
correct
selection of grades.
